2003-2011 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis Suspension Torque Specs

For some reason these were harder to find than they should have been when researching to lift my Crown Victoria.

Front/Rear Lugnuts – 95 lb/ft (129 Nm)

Front Shocks:
– Lower bolt – 166 lb/ft (225 Nm)
– Upper mounting plate to crossmember – 22 lb/ft (30 Nm)
– Upper stud – 37 lb/ft (50 Nm)

Front Swaybar:
– brackets to frame – 46 lb/ft (63 Nm)
– Endlink nuts – 46 lb/ft (63 Nm)

Front Upper:
– Upper control arm to crossmember – 111 lb/ft (150 Nm)
– Upper ball joint to wheel knuckle nuts – 111 lb/ft (150 Nm)

Front Lower:
– Lower control arm to cross member – 166 lb/ft (225 Nm)
– Lower control arm to frame – 66 lb/ft (90 Nm)
– Lower ball joint to wheel knuckle nuts – 111 lb/ft (150 Nm)
– Lower control arm bushing nut (21mm socket) – 129 lb/ft (175 Nm)
– Lower control arm bushing nut (24mm socket) – 14.8 lb/ft (200 Nm)
– Tie rod end to wheel knuckle – 59 lb/ft (80 Nm)
– Steering gear to crossmember stud nuts – 76 lb/ft (103 Nm)
– Steering gear to cross member studs – 13 lb/ft (18 Nm)
– Wheel bearing and hub to wheel knuckle bolts – 74 lb/ft (100 Nm)

Front Brakes:
– Anchor plate to wheel knuckle – 118 lb/ft (160 Nm)
– Caliper to anchor plate – 32 lb/ft (44 Nm)

Rear Shocks:
– Upper stud to frame – 30 lb/ft (40 Nm) – Lower bolt to axle – 66 lb/ft (90 Nm)

Rear Swaybar:
– endlinks – 15 lb/ft (20 Nm) – brackets – 18 lb/ft (25 Nm)

Rear Upper Control Arm:
– Upper arm to frame – 111 lb/ft (150 Nm)
– Upper arm to axle – 69 lb/ft (93 Nm)

Rear Lower Control Arm:
– Lower arm to frame – 111 lb/ft (150 Nm)
– Lower arm to axle – 111 lb/ft (150 Nm)

Watts Link:
– Arm to frame – 76 lb/ft (103 Nm)
– Arm to center link – 68 lb/ft (92 Nm)
– Differential housing stud – 199 lb/ft (270 Nm)
– Center link to differential housing – 184 lb/ft (250 Nm)

Rear Brakes
– 20 lb/ft (27 Nm)
