Las Vegas Cars and Coffee 442 Blowout

Last year when we covered SEMA 2012 we had an opportunity to check out a local Cars and Coffee chapter. Though I was a little underwhelmed by the small turn out considering it was Vegas and SEMA week, I was happily surprised to see my favorite muscle car, the Oldsmobile 442, out in full force. It’s really odd to see this many Olds cars out at one event, so I imagine someone on an Olds forum must have coordinated it. 1986 Chevy El Camino Dragging Out Of SEMA 2012 (VIDEO)

The Las Vegas Police Department clearly had a much more strict set of rules for this years cruise out of SEMA.  I saw a couple tickets handed out with zero hesitation, most likely with the idea of making examples out of people, which I can understand.

Aside from a minuscule chirp from a little Fiat no one was willing to give their wheels a spin, no matter how much the crowd begged for it.  Well, these guys said ‘fuck it’, dropped their truck car vehicle to the ground and gave a them go.  It’s no smoke show or anything but the pickings were slim, so enjoy it.

Well, we survived the trip to Las Vegas for SEMA. We have tons of stuff to sort through and we will be putting it up here as soon as it is.

SEMA 2012 Sneak Preview

The editors here at Generation: High Output are pleased to announce that we will be attending the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada this fall.

For the automotive aftermarket industry, this is the biggest event of the year. This massive trade show packs the Las Vegas Convention Center with over 2,000 exhibitors, 60,000 attendees, and of course, hundreds upon hundreds of customized cars, trucks, and other vehicles.

So what can you expect to see at this year’s show? For business owners, there is a full schedule of both free and paid workshops and seminars about various topics in the automotive industry.
