Penske Racing Museum

The Penske Racing Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona is a delightful attraction for racing and motorsports enthusiasts. This FREE museum displays vehicles, engines, and memorabilia of former racing driver and NASCAR team owner Roger Penske.

The museum is located between exotic car dealerships for Maserati/Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Rolls Royce along Mayo Blvd. The two-story building also features a trophy case, a small gift shop, and a cafe. The exhibits change throughout the year, but it is likely that you will see a NASCAR vehicle from Brad Keselowski, some vintage INDY cars, and some Indy V8 engines on display. Best of all, admission to the Penske Racing Museum is completely free!

Please excuse the quality of the photos as they were taken over multiple visits with different cameras. I also managed to get a picture of the Penske Marlboro Racing Indy cars, which the museum staff specifically said must NOT be photographed.

Plan to spend about 30-60 minutes to see the museum – and don’t feel shy about popping next door to the Ferrari or Lamborghini dealership to see what’s in the showroom. Even if you are not a die-hard NASCAR fan, the Penske Racing Museum is very much worth a pit stop.
