The United States Postal Service has recently introduced a new series of Forever stamps called Muscle Cars. The series features five different vehicles: the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, the 1966 Pontiac GTO, the 1967 Shelby GT-500, the 1970 Chevelle SS, and the 1970 Plymouth HEMI ‘Cuda.
These five vehicles are icons of what we like to call the “High Output Generation.” These cars were produced at a special time in American history, a time that was unmarred by gas prices, federal emissions laws, or global recessions. All that mattered was power, and these Muscle Cars had tons of it!
