Supercars both old and new dominated the list of Top 10 cars sold at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2026 auction. Let’s take a look at the top 10 most expensive cars that crossed the block during this event.
1. Lot #1377 – 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe – $2,530,000
Mercedes-Benz produced approximately 1,400 examples of the 300 SL Coupe between 1954-57. These cars are widely considered to be the first supercar, in terms of its cutting-edge technology and performance for its time – not to mention those signature gullwing doors. This car was fully restored in 2008 and includes extensive documentation, tools, and factory-correct fitted luggage. To no one’s surprise, this car was the top seller.
2. Lot #1378 – 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster – $1,870,000
Approximately 1,858 300 SL roadsters were produced between 1957-63. This car is finished in an elegant blue metallic paint over a tan interior, and it looks absolutely stunning. This one was restored in Canada and is said to be in excellent mechanical condition.
3. Lot #1365 – 2022 Ford GT – $1,100,000
The second-generation Ford GT has been an extremely desirable car since it debuted in 2017. This one is finished in Ingot Silver exterior with Competition Orange stripes over a Dark Energy interior. With the gloss carbon exterior package and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, this car is truly a head-turner.
4. Lot #1366 – 2019 McLaren Senna – $1,870,000
The Senna is McLaren’s track-focused supercar. Its 4.0-liter Twin Turbo V8 engine produces a massive 789 horsepower, while the body features numerous aerodynamic tricks to slice through the air. This one is number 422 of 500 units produced, and features more than $379,000 in factory options, further enhancing its exclusivity.
5. Lot #1379 – 1963 Chevrolet Corvette 327/360 Z06 “Big Tank” Split-Window Coupe – $1,100,000
The ultimate collector Corvette might well be this 1963 Z06 Split Window coupe with the “Big Tank” 36.5-gallon fiberglass fuel tank, one of only 63 produced with this option. With a full restoration by the Naber Brothers in 2015, this car has secured numerous awards including an NCRS Top Flight Award and Bloomington Gold Certificate.
6. Lot #1382 – 2022 Ford GT ’64 Heritage Edition – $1,237,500
The 2022 Ford GT is already a special car, but the ’64 Heritage Edition, limited to just 27 units, is even more special. Featuring Wimbledon White paint with blue racing stripes, exterior carbon fiber, and other design elements that honor the GT/105 prototype.
7. Lot #1378.1 – 2021 McLaren Elva – $1,512,500
The McLaren Elva is basically a go-kart for grown ups. Limited to just 149 units, this car is number 49 and wears a beautiful Nerello red metallic exterior color. It is not equipped with the optional windshield, which is staggering considering the car’s 804 horsepower engine and 203 mph top speed.
8. Lot #1381 – 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO – $1,622,500
Low mileage, limited production, and Ferrari are three things that go hand-in-hand. This 2011 599 GTO has just 531 actual miles from new, one of just 599 examples built, and it wears the Scuderia shields on its fenders. This rare V12 Ferrari with the F1 transmission is sure to be the jewel of any collection.
9. Lot #1383 – 2023 Porsche Brabus 900 Rocket R – $1,100,000
German tuning company Brabus is most known for upgrading Mercedes-Benz vehicles. For the first time, this Brabus-upgraded Porsche 911s crossed the block in the six-figure territory. One of just 25 examples one of two cars in the U.S., and the only one finished in Mexico Blue, this 900 horsepower beast is as rare and special as you could hope for.
10. Lot #1426 – 1966 Lincoln Continental Custom Convertible – $1,100,000
This 1966 Continental Convertible has been given a full restomod treatment, including a new Gen II Coyote V8 engine pushing 435 horsepower to the rear wheels. It features a new fuel and exhaust system, upgraded brakes, Ridetech air suspension system, and a full custom interior. All new chrome and polished stainless trim perfectly complement the PPG Light Blue Pearl paint.
