This last weekend, Cameron and I had to stop at Wal-Mart to pick up some rags while we were working on one of his projects. We just happened to park next to a pretty extreme-looking Jeep. It turned out to be more than just extreme looking
This is ridiculous for so many reasons. If it’s fake, which I think it kind of seems like it might be, it’s really dumb. If it’s real, then the owner of this truck is the biggest asshole in the world- to himself. Maybe it’s a nice way of reminding himself to drive slow to conserve fuel, because nobody wants to get a face full of particulates every time they accelerate from a light.
I hope someone’s first day in America involves walking somewhere and being intentionally splashed with mud by this truck as it streaks by pumping out equal parts soot, train horn, and Alan Jackson.
I can’t think of a much better initiation into our culture than that.

I spotted this out in Scottsdale a few weeks ago. At first, I thought it was an XP8, which was the only Saleen Explorer I knew about. When I made it to the rear of the vehicle, I noticed it said “XP6” on it.
