I spotted this out in Scottsdale a few weeks ago. At first, I thought it was an XP8, which was the only Saleen Explorer I knew about. When I made it to the rear of the vehicle, I noticed it said “XP6” on it.
I saw this thing pulling into Safeway and I knew I had to get out of the car and get some pictures. In case you don’t know, it’s a Citroen 2CV, and it’s the first one I’ve actually seen in person.
They were built from 1948 to 1990, which would be pretty impressive if VW’s Beetle didn’t shit all over it in terms of longevity. And everything else too, really. Continue reading
I am trying really hard to rationalize why a person would do this to their own car. The best I can come up with is that someone accidentally ruined their paint by driving through fresh asphalt the same week they started up a DeviantArt account.
