Ford F-Serious(ly not fucking around)

Whether this guy is the first or last to die when the whole Y2K thing does its deal is yet to be determined.  What is determined is that this guy (or lady) takes not fucking around seriously.

I’ll admit that I don’t know too much about this truck.  I do not that it sits on the most massive frame I’ve seen outside of commercial use trucks.  I do know that it’s RWD and seems to have been well thought out with what appears to be a low to mid-level budget.  There are lights in every direction and an assortment of amateur radio antennas across the top, perfect for those out in the middle of nowhere distress calls.. or warning beacons.

I’m not sure whether the side tanks are for some sort of CNG fuel or simply compressed air but having them mounted externally (although vulnerable) sure adds to the look.

I tried to speak with the owner but grew impatient waiting for them to come out of Fry’s Electronics, maybe someone else can chime in with more details? It appears to be well taken care of but not babied (check out that hood gap), here’s hoping that I saw it on a clean day and it’s not just an attention grabber made for the streets of Phoenix.

America: King of Class and Style (lifted Dodge truck)

If it doesn’t excel at being a street truck, an offroad truck, or a hauling truck.. what are you left with?  Just another stereotype at the gym.

SEMA 2012: Video Gallery

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been posting a lot about the SEMA Show that took place in Las Vegas at the end of October. We’ve brought you over a dozen original posts plus photos of the cruise, tweets, and more! Today, I am going to wrap up my coverage of the 2012 SEMA show by posting a couple of videos I made.

The first video shows highlights of the SEMA Cruise where I captured some of the cars driving away as they left the show. It’s kind of a long video but it has some really cool cars, so check it out!

The second video is just me walking around out in front of the show checking out some of the cars that were parked outside the Convention Center.

Finally, the third video features the Corvette ZR-1 from the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School sliding sideways around cones at the road course.

This wraps up my coverage of the 2012 SEMA Show until next year! Hope you have enjoyed what we had to offer.

SEMA 2012: 1969 Yenko Camaro

When I was walking through SEMA, this 1969 Yenko Camaro (apparently owned by Reggie Jackson) was just minding it’s own business at the Classic Industries booth. I did not see it, and I blame that not on myself, but on the absolute saturation of first and fifth generation Camaros there. If you don’t believe me, just go back and take a look at our very own SEMA coverage, there was quite a bit of love for GM’s pony car. Continue reading

SEMA 2012 Cruise Photos

On the last day of the 2012 SEMA Show, we stuck around to watch the official SEMA cruise. Now in its second year, the cruise is a chance to see many of the cars from the show floor in motion as they exit the convention center. It was absolutely packed with people and difficult to get good photos of the cars because of the cross-traffic. I would have liked for the road to be closed for the cruise; I think this would have made it a lot better.

So without further ado, here are a few of my best photos from the 2012 SEMA Cruise:
