Okay, I hate to Jerry Seinfeld you here, but seriously- what’s the deal with the people who think they’re witches/wizards/warlocks/pagemasters…etc?

For Sale – The Coolest Camper Shell Ever
Seriously. This is just plain bad ass. It makes me want to buy a Ranchero just so I could put this on it. I love anything with flat rear glass, and since I will more than likely never go through the trouble to import an XB Falcon or save up the cash for a Mach 1, this would probably be the closest I would ever get to being able to set drinks on my back window rear hatch.
1971 Chevrolet Corvette Hatchback Freakshow
I spotted this at the Russo and Steele auction, the ‘still for sale’ tags indicates that either nobody wanted it or it didn’t meet the reserve price.
These Corvettes were ridiculously swoopy and cartoon-like to begin with, this is just over the top. If there were a Scooby Doo episode where they befriended some wild gothabilly kids, this is what they would drive, only with landau bars on the sides (click the link at the bottom for the full effect). 2012 Mastretta MXT Prototype Coupe
I was definitely surprised to see this prototype at the Russo and Steele auction. It’s the Mastretta MXT, the first Mexican made sports car. To me that is the cars only claim to fame, but who knows, maybe we will see more of them jetting around Scottsdale road one day. Originally, I knew nothing about this car other than a bit about the Top Gear controversy. Continue reading
Moby Dick (Head)
If you live in North Phoenix, you’ve probably seen the guy in the Mustang with the chrome vinyl wrap driving around. I’ve driven past him going the opposite direction more times than I can count and was never able to get a picture of him. I used to see him when I was on my bike, when I was running, driving in the car or riding in other people’s cars, and every time I saw him, it always happened to be when I didn’t have a camera or couldn’t get my phone out of my pocket in time.
1st Gen Chevrolet S10 5th Wheel Trailer Setup
The less than pleasant GM rep at the 2012 SEMA show informed us that the LT1 name was back, again, for heritage reasons only. That’s an acceptable answer, I guess, I don’t quite understand why but I’ll let it slide. There are definitely better names to bring back, like, I don’t know.. the fucking Iron Duke. If there were an american version of the hammer and sickle that’s what you would envision upon hearing its name, regardless of actual performance specs or reliability.
Also, I found this S10 5th wheel setup, which hopefully has a tired 350 under the hood.
