Common logic would tell you to avoid 30 inch wheels unless you are about to set down the Oregon Trail.. or possibly drive a yellow truck equipped with a ladder to the drivers seat and Caterpillar written on its side. Well, this is not common logic, this is pure form over function.. Possibly at its finest. Continue reading

The Death Of Visability And The Age Of Driving Blind
All modern cars seem to be burdened with the task of keeping their occupants safe at all costs. Which is a good thing, because all modern cars are impossible to see out of. High beltlines create a claustrophobic sitting-in-a-bathtub feeling, and impossibly huge C-pillars bring visibility to near zero. To me this is a chicken and egg situation. Is it better to drive a tank with its hatch shut or actually see what you are doing? Continue reading
1981-1988 Lamborghini Jalpa 3.5
As far as Lamborghinis go, this one was a real oddball. Let’s just say that if Lamborghini were to release a “Greatest Hits” album, this car wouldn’t be on it.
Sold from 1981 to 1988, it competed against the Ferrari 308 and the Mondial – neither of which are remembered as shining examples of Maranello’s best work.

1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI with Chevy LS1 V8 Swap
When you take an ordinary car and do an engine swap, it transforms the car into something cool. When you take a car that’s already cool and do an engine swap, that makes it badass!
At SEMA 2014, I saw this Chrysler Conquest TSI lined up for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. It belongs to John Lazorack of Lazorack Motorsports. As you can tell, this is no ordinary Conquest – this one is powered by an LS1 engine from a 2002 Corvette!
Datsun 280ZX with Chevy LS1 V8 Swap
For the second post in our series of engine swaps, I bring you this Datsun 280ZX with the rumble of a Chevrolet LS1 engine! Somebody really took their time and effort to make this an all-around fun car.
Besides the engine, this car has also been upgraded with Wilwood disc brakes, a nice stereo, custom gauges, and other comforts. The body looks sharp in red with chrome trim and a subtle body kit on the front and rear.
1988 Lincoln Town Car Convertible.. if it’s worth doing it’s worth overdoing
I’m pretty open to a lot of things in the automotive world and very rarely, if ever, would I suggest 28 inch wheels to improve the look of a car.. but I think this is one of those cases. Actually, this is the first time that thought has ever popped into my head but with as outlandish as this car looks I would highly recommend it. When you are 2/3s of the way towards going big why bother going home? Continue reading
